WPS Office is one software that is very similar to Microsoft Office. Wps is a development from Kingsoft. This software presents a modern look. WPS can be installed on various platforms such as Android, Windows, Mac, even available for Linux. How do I install WPS Office on Ubuntu 18.04?

1. Please get the software first in here, and adjust your choice to the specifications of the computer used, in this case I chose WPS Office for a computer with i386 architecture.

2. You can install via the GDebi Pakcage Installer Application or use the Terminal. If you are a New Linux user, it will be easier to install via GDebi Package Installer with GUI Mode as shown below

Install WPS Office Using GDebi
In the picture above, I have finished the installation process, so there are 2 menus in GDebi, Reinstall Package and Remove Package. Besides being able to install it via GDebi, you can also delete this software using GDebi.

The second way is to use the terminal. Please enter the WPS file directory that you downloaded earlier, and type the following command:

sudo dpkg -i package_name.deb

In the package_name.deb, please replace it with the name of the WPS file(an example is wps-office_10.1.0.6757_i386.deb). After that you wait until the installation process is complete. If there is no error, you will see that WPS has been installed on Ubuntu and please run it. May be useful.
